All is Calm, All is Bright...

Perhaps we could do with some reassurance in the midst of all the confusion, the rage, the ugliness, Indeed, Christmas is everyday. It is the Incarnation: God has come so close at Bethlehem we can miss it. Enjoy this. These are choir boys at Winchester Cathedral, England.

  2. I like this Fr. Stephen. It calms and soothes. Maybe we need to remember that Christmas feeling more often throughout the year.

  5. It is sometimes difficult to get over the ugliness. I can hardly understand the ugly behaviors that exist in the world, but find it even harder to live with it when they are shown to you by the people in your own life.

  6. Very difficult indeed! So we must pay close attention and hold onto every good thing that comes our way. Ugliness can be contagious.

Just as a smile is contagious, nastiness is even more so. Our human tendency is to look negatively at things. Always wondering what I did wrong or why things happen. But this little post shows us that there is peace to be found. We just have to open our minds to it. When life throws you a lemon, try to make lemonade. There will be people there to carry you when you need it. Be kind to them always and it will be returned in multiples.
